By Car:
Directions to Venue from Downtown New York:
Head Northwest on W 42nd St toward 8th Ave
Turn Right at 12th Ave/NY-9A and continue to follow for 6.3 miles
Take exit 14 for I-95/George Washington Bridge toward W 178 St/Cross Bronx Expy and follow for 0.3 miles
Keep Right at the fork to continue toward I-95 N
Keep Left at the next fork and follow signs for I-95/CR Bronx Expy and merge onto I-95 N. Follow I-95 north for 8.5 miles
Take exit 9 for Hutchinson River Pkwy then keep left at the fork and merge onto Hutchinson River Pkwy. Follow this for 0.8 miles
Take your first exit (exit 5). The road will bend right and cross railroad tracks before coming to the Bartow Pell Traffic Circle
At the Bartow Pell Traffic Circle, take your 2nd exit onto Orchard Beach Rd.
From there, make a left at your next intersection onto Park Rd and continue straight until you reach the Orchard Beach Main Parking Lot.
Parking at the Orchard Beach site will be free of charge to all racers and spectators. We strongly encourage participants to carpool and arrive early to allow time to park.
By Subway:
Take the Uptown 6 to its last stop, Pelham Bay Park at which point you can either walk to the Orchard Beach race site (about a 3 mile walk) or take one the event shuttles. Event shuttles will be making continuous loops starting at 6:00 AM and running until 2:00 PM from Pelham Bay Park Station to the main event parking lot at Orchard Beach.
